They centre their learning around 9 areas; art, ceramic, product and industrial design, culture and enterprise, drama and performance, fashion, graphic communication design, spatial practices, textiles and jewellery and lastly, foundation access to higher education. Based in Kings Cross at the Granary Building, 1 Granary Square in London, N1C 4AA, this modern and well respected university has a high profile when it comes to producing art works of all natures so it's not surprising that this follows along with those high standards. These “Cubes” are one of many creative art displays that surround Central St Martins grounds and entrance ways.   It's not really that surprising that the university has art work adorning it's surrounding areas when you consider that they have workshops and studios for just about everything you can thing of like 3D, animation, art studios, CAD, casting, ceramics, costume, digital media, digital print, fashion, jewellery, knit, letterpress, metal, paint, performance, photography, post-production, print & dye, print, weave and wood. They also have a special outdoor area called “The Street”, a very large open plan setting that is used to showcase student exhibitions all year round. Why wouldn't you show off the creative talents of your students in such a popular and thriving area? Google is even due to open it's new European HQ here soon so getting students art work and productions exposure to industry leaders and influencers can only have a positive effect on both the universities standing and the students portfolio's.
